The 42’ ExpressFish (42EF) shares the same hull design as the 41’ T, with a 12” longer bow overhang to provide a sleeker profile to match the sleek 42EF’s swept-back cabin. Like the 41’ T, the 42EF’s deep V hull is capable of speeds of over 55 knots. The exciting new hull shape, with its wide chines and aggressive planing strakes, provides a dry, stable, and smooth ride even in the most challenging conditions.
Powered with a choice of triple or quad outboards, the 42EF offers top speeds of over 55 knots with quad Yamaha 425s. With a fuel capacity of 600 US gallons, the 42EF provides an extended range at cruising speeds of up to 40 knots. There is an extensive list of standard and optional equipment available, including a 9 kilowatt generator, SeaKeeper 5, diesel fired hot water heater, large capacity house batteries, integrated navigation electronics, air conditioning with reverse heat, diesel fired furnace, water maker, stereo, entertainment, connectivity and security systems, under water lights, cockpit control station, marlin tower, insulated freezer boxes, plus many other features.
The 42EF’s open and spacious sedan features a one-piece curved windshield, fritted side windows with opening panels, full glass rear door, optional large sunroof, and fixed rear glass panel. The contemporary yacht joinery features black walnut lower finishing with upper wrapped panels and Ultra Leather upholstery. The large wrap around settee offers seating for up to six. The elevated co-pilot and helm seat provide excellent forward visibility. Custom galley layouts include quartz countertops, speed oven, electric range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, pull out pantry, and ample drawers and cupboards.
The main forward stateroom has a queen island berth, port and starboard hanging lockers, nightstands, and side shelves. This stateroom provides a private owner’s suite experience. The forward head and separate shower are roomy and well appointed. The head is finished in black walnut, Quartz countertops and teak flooring. The shower is finished with Avonite “Wet Walls” and features a large comfortable shower seat. The guest stateroom is located aft under the salon settee and has two single berths that convert into a queen.
